The agarbati episode :)

When I feel like writing something,blogsites ll be blocked in office.. Phew!!! The world s so tough.. isnt it?? Anyway, Today I just felt like sharing some of the incidents tat happened wid me lately ... before starting off.. I wud like to tell u tat normally I am not an accident prone person .. :-D

Agarbati , coconut and my head - OKay, u mite be wondering wat the relation is .. You will soon find out ;-) One fine morning, I woke up in a total spiritual mood :-) and decided to do pooja before leaving to office... While at it, I also lit 3 agarbati's and placed them at the brim of the cupboard.. After happily unloading all my requests and worries, I decided to start to office.. I keep my handbag in the rack rite underneath the pooja cupboard.. So,I bent down to take my bag and suddenly whooooosh!!!!!! Something happened.. I felt as if my head was on fire..and I cud get a burning smell also.. As I am a very brave person by birth :-S, I started screaming... :-D n my poor Hubby came running n guess wat, The agarbati's had got stuck to my head... maybe it was God's way of telling "from next time keep ur prayers short n sweet" :)Anyways, he pulled them out and smiled at me.. I smelled somthing fishy in tat smile and went to have a look at my head in the mirror ... N there it was, 3 burnt round shapes on my head.. :( even I cudnt help thinking of the coconut any time I see my head

P.S - Now I am pretty again, the hair on those burnt areas have started growing back :) ... Only thing is tat it looks like I have 3 fountains on my head... :-S

    What all things are happening in your life pyaruu... :)
    So you do one thing.Start writing like this.Just look back at your past and you will get lots of incidents like this.Do write abt it. :)

സൗമ്യ തിയേറ്റർ

വീടിന്റെ അടുത്ത് നടക്കാവുന്ന ദൂരത്തായിരുന്നു സൗമ്യ തിയേറ്റർ . നഗരത്തിലെ മറ്റു തിയേറ്ററുകളെകാളും സൗകര്യം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു സൗമ്യക്ക്. പക്ഷെ ട്രിവാൻഡറും സിറ്റി ഇലെ പ്രശസ്ത സിനിമാകൊട്ടകകൾ ലാഭം കൊയ്തു കഴിയുമ്പോ മാത്രം സിനിമ കൈമാറുന്നതു കാരണം രണ്ടാം കിട തീയേറ്ററുകളിൽ ഒന്നായി മാറിയിരുന്നു. ഒട്ടുമിക്ക ചെറുപ്പക്കാരും അതിനോടകം തന്നെ നഗരത്തിൽ പോയി സിനിമ കണ്ടിട്ടുമുണ്ടാകും. പക്ഷെ സൗമ്യ തീയറ്ററിനു പ്രത്യേകതകൾ ഒത്തിരി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. നാട്ടുകാർ എല്ലാവരും തമ്മിൽ അറിയുന്ന ഒരു കൊച്ചു ഗ്രാമമായതിൽ ആയതിനാൽ അവിടേക്കുള്ള സിനിമയ്ക്കു പോക്ക് പലപ്പോഴും നാട്ടുകാർ ഒന്നിച്ചായിരുന്നു . നേരെത്തെ പോയിരുന്നു സൊറ പറയാൻ കു‌ടെ ഉള്ള ഒരു ഇടം ആയിരുന്നു സൗമ്യ .പല നാട്ടിൻപുറത്തെ പ്രേമങ്ങൾ മൊട്ടിട്ടിരുന്നത് ഇവിടെയാണ് . ഇവിടെയാണ് പലതും പൊളിഞ്ഞതും. ഇടവേളയ്ക്കു വയർ നിറയ്ക്കാൻ വല്യ പലഹാര പൊതികൾ കരുതാനും നാട്ടുകാർ മറന്നിരുന്നില്ല. അത് പരിചിതരുമായി പങ്കു വയ്ക്കാനും. എല്ലാ ശനിയാഴ്ച വൈകുന്നേരങ്ങളും ആ സിനിമാ കാഴ്ചയ്ക്കുള്ള തയ്യാറെടുപ്പുകളായി. അവിടെ വച്ചു കഴിക്കാൻ കരുതേണ്ട പലഹാരങ്ങളുടെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പായി. അമ്മയുടെ വല്യ ബാഗിൽ എന്നും ഞങ്ങൾ കുട്...

ജാനകി

നാഗരികത തെല്ലും കടന്നുവന്നിട്ടില്ലാത്ത ഒരു കൊച്ചു ഗ്രാമം ആയിരുന്നു ജാനകിയുടെ നാട് . നഗരത്തിൽ നിന്നും വളരെ അടുത്തായിരുന്നെങ്കിലും പട്ടണത്തിന്റെ പുറംമോടികൾ ഒന്നും തന്നെ അവളുടെ ഗ്രാമത്തിനു ഒട്ടും പരിചിതം ആയിരുന്നില്ല . ദൂരെ ഉള്ള പരിഷ്‌കൃതമായ ഒരു പള്ളിക്കൂടത്തിലായിരുന്നു അവൾ പഠിച്ചിരുന്നത് . തങ്ങളുടെ മക്കൾക്കു ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം ഉറപ്പ് വരുത്തുക എന്നതായിരുന്നു അവളുടെ വീട്ടുകാരുടെ ഏറ്റവും വല്യ ആഗ്രഹം . രണ്ടറ്റം കൂട്ടിമുട്ടിക്കാൻ പാട് പെട്ടിരുന്ന രണ്ടു സർക്കാർ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരായ അവർ ആ മുന്തിയ സ്കൂളിലെ ഫീസ് അടക്കാൻ നന്നേ പാട് പെട്ടിരുന്നു . മഞ്ഞുനീര്തുള്ളികൾ മുത്തി ഉണർത്തുന്ന പനിനീർപൂക്കൾ നിറഞ്ഞ മുറ്റം ആയിരുന്നു ജാനകിയുടേത് . എന്നും രാവിലെ ദീർഘ നേരം പല്ലുതേയ്ക്കാൻ എന്ന വ്യാജേന അവൾ മുറ്റത്തു ഉലാത്തുമായിരുന്നു. അടുത്ത പറമ്പിലെ പാലമരം എന്നും അവൾക് ഒരു ആശ്ചര്യമായിരുന്നു . സന്ധ്യാനേരത്തിനു ശേഷം കന്യകമാർ ഒറ്റയ്ക്കു പുറത്തിറങ്യാൽ പാലയിൽ കുടിയിരിക്കുന്ന ഗന്ധർവ്വൻ കൂടും എന്ന് മുത്തശ്ശി അവളോട് പറയാറുണ്ട് . എന്നാൽ പിന്നെ ആ ഗന്ധർവനെ ഒന്ന് കണ്ടു കളയാം എന്നായി ജാനകിയുടെ ചിന്ത. വീണു കിട്ടുന്ന അവസരങ്ങളി...
